Is it just me, or am I missing something. The apparent nerve agent attack on the former spy Sergei Skripal and his daughter Yulia seems to have united most of Europe with the USA to vilify Putin’s Russia. Not that I’m a fan of this mysterious empire, but I find it hard to understand why everyone seems to support the British accusations.
I happen to be a very open minded individual and like to scrutinise the news we are confronted with day in and day out. So far, I have not been able to find any particular proof, which should be provided by the British before making these serious claims. Is it the case that we “news consumers” are just too stupid?! That we wouldn’t understand anyway? These accusations and the following international sanctions for Russia and the reaction of Russia, can have serious implications for the international community for years to come.
It is of course possible, that the Russians were behind this attack. Looking at the British claims it nearly seems to be too obvious. Let’s be honest.
Whatever you may think of Russia – one thing is for sure. Russia is not stupid!
Why would they commit this extremely serious crime, if the whole world can immediately and without any reasonable doubt trace the act back to the Kremlin. Has anybody ever considered that somebody may actually have planted this plot on Russia? Russia has plenty of “enemies”! Yes, the nerve agent originated in the Soviet Union, but it is also true that the recipe for the poison is widely available and can be reproduced by anyone with a bit of chemical know-how.
